Our Story

Fig Holding celebrates the Armenian heritage and culture through a culinary feast. We opened the first Armenian restaurant in the world, keeping our high standards and excellent reputation for the past 15 years.

Bit by bit, we changed the prevailing views of Soujouk and Basterma when it comes to Armenian cuisine, introducing Mante, Sou Beureg and many other Armenian delicacies to the food scene.

A fully dedicated and talented team, is serving our customers in Lebanon in two restaurants, Mayrig and Batchig; and in KSA in Mayrig Riyadh.

Mayrig’s story portrays the Armenian people who fled their homeland in Anatolia to come and take refuge in Lebanon one hundred years ago.
In Mayrig, we celebrate the original Armenian recipes in ever new and creative ways.
Batchig shows how these refugees blended in and contributed to the Lebanese society over the last hundred years and recounts how cultures met and recipes were combined.

We created Fig Holding in 2008 as a way to franchise all over the world, and the Central Kitchen in order to accommodate these franchises.

With a nation-wide fame, big business success and a long history in franchising, Fig Holding has all the requirements to expand further and broader.

Mayrig and Batchig are currently negotiating agreements for Yerevan, Los Angeles, Miami, Montreal, Kuwait, Dubai and Riyadh.
