Bit by bit, we changed the prevailing views of Soujouk and Basterma when it comes to Armenian cuisine, introducing Mante, Sou Beureg and many other Armenian delicacies to the food scene.
A fully dedicated and talented team, is serving our customers in Lebanon in two restaurants, Mayrig and Batchig; and in KSA in Mayrig Riyadh.
Mayrig’s story portrays the Armenian people who fled their homeland in Anatolia to come and take refuge in Lebanon one hundred years ago.
Batchig shows how these refugees blended in and contributed to the Lebanese society over the last hundred years and recounts how cultures met and recipes were combined.
We created Fig Holding in 2008 as a way to franchise all over the world, and the Central Kitchen in order to accommodate these franchises.
With a nation-wide fame, big business success and a long history in franchising, Fig Holding has all the requirements to expand further and broader.
Mayrig and Batchig are currently negotiating agreements for Yerevan, Los Angeles, Miami, Montreal, Kuwait, Dubai and Riyadh.

To tell our story and keep our culture alive through the celebration of Armenian food.
Mayrig, the first authentic Armenian restaurant in the World was co-founded by Aline Kamakian. Through its cuisine Mayrig tells the story of the Armenians as they arrived in Lebanon 100 years ago.
The Central Kitchen was established to provide the basic products for the restaurant and cater for events and homes.
In order to prepare for franchising, Fig Holding, the mother company was established and the Kitchen was certified for export.
The boutique, Made by Mayrig, was founded selling Armenian products. Made by Mayrig became a destination for foodies and others looking for original gifts or goodies to take abroad and for locals picking up frozen preparations to prepare at home.
The first Armenian restaurant in Dubai was opened: Mayrig opened as a franchise.
The third concept of Fig holding saw the light: Batchig brings together the rich cuisine of the Armenians of today, blending the original Armenian recipes with the fragrant and rich Lebanese cuisine
Batchig Catering was established, catering a wide range of Armenian, Lebanese and Mediterranean recipes for events and homes
Mayrig opened its doors in Riyadh as a franchise and became one of the most successful restaurants of the city.
MFig Holding started developing a new concept
An MOU was signed to open Mayrig in Yerevan and Batchig in Kuwait.
In December, Mayrig’s menu was launched in Four Seasons Resort - Maldives as part of Fig Holding’s consultancy for Al Barakat Restaurant
